There are four programs in Plumbing at Northern, with stacked AAS & Certificates programs
in both Non-apprenticeship and Apprenticeship contexts.
Associate of Applied Sciences in Plumbing Concentration / Non-apprenticeship
The AAS Plumbing Concentration/Non-apprenticeship provides opportunities to develop
marketable skills installing, repairing, and maintaining common residential and commercial
plumbing systems. The core principles and concepts of plumbing systems are covered
in each course.
Certificate in Plumbing Concentration
The Certificate in Technical Trades (Plumbing Apprenticeship) program provides entry-level
opportunities to develop marketable skills installing, repairing, and maintaining
common residential and commercial plumbing systems. The core principles and concepts
of plumbing systems are covered in each course. Students completing this program may
continue to an Associate Degree in Technical Trades (Plumbing).
The Associate of Applied Sciences in Plumbing / Apprenticeship
The AAS Plumbing / Apprenticeship program provides opportunities to develop marketable
skills installing, repairing, and maintaining common residential and commercial plumbing
systems as a student apprentice. The core principles and concepts of plumbing systems
are covered in each course.
The Certificate in Plumbing Apprenticeship
The Certificate in Technical Trades (Plumbing Apprenticeship) program provides opportunities
to develop marketable skills installing, repairing, and maintaining common residential
and commercial plumbing systems. Students completing this program may continue to
an AAS in Plumbing Apprenticeship.
